I was referred to Dr. Mir by my PCP for bloodwork & testing which were ordered. Return visit was to review radiology and lab results. Arrived early waited 55 minutes in an exam room. When she arrived she told me the staff should have informed me she was running late (I'm not sure I agree with that). Then she asked how she could help me. She was unprepared for my visit, did not order ALL the lab work discussed nor did she have my radiology report that had been faxed the week prior. Very disappointing experience. Will not return to her.

Still the best doctor for me for over 20 years, before he started his own practice. My entire family goes to him. Easiest appointment scheduling, great staff, Most everyone is with him from the beginning. Very friendly atmosphere, Doc always enters the room wearing big smile, which reduces the tension right away. After listening to your concerns, doctor explains the plan of action, prescribes the appropriate medication, and if necessary, checks on your condition by calling you. Best doctor bar none.

Dr Mir is one of the rare type of doctor that seem to be more and more difficult to find in today’s world. She listens to you with respect for you as a person. She has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years and during those years she has found certain medical conditions that ,had she not found them could have resulted in a very serious outcome. You will never feel rushed in consultation with her. You will have a sense that she truly cares for you. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Zahir was great as always! I saw him for my annual physical and am happy to report I’ve lost 20 lbs through the semaglutide injections I took for a few months! I always love going to his office because they do the blood-draw for fasting bloodwork right there. I have a preschooler at home so I’m always getting sick with the latest virus, and he’s super easy to get ahold of for a sane-day appointment via phone call or video chat, which means I don’t have to go to urgent care as often. He is a great listener and has an amazing bedside manner. He’s a very thorough internist and I feel very taken care of. Thanks, Dr. Zahir!!!

Can’t speak more highly of my first time here seeing Dr. Zahir! I needed to find a new primary care doctor and called the office after reading great reviews. I was able to get an appointment for a standard physical the very next day! I was delighted that they took me back ON TIME, moved through standard take-in procedures in a timely fashion, and I had a great visit with Dr. Zahir. I can tell already why he makes lists of “the greatest” in the region. Other pluses? Super easy parking and on-site bloodwork! All the staff were also very friendly and professional. Telehealth appt for Covid medications couldn’t have been easier!

5 stars - The burst/taper medicine did a phenomenal job to restore my hand to its normal shape, with no swelling. Most of all, no pain now! I was in terrible pain before, and Tylenol was not touching it. Thank you, thank you for the relief! I still have those blotchy spots on my arms and wonder if I should see a dermatologist for them. The Inova Medical Group Rheumatology office said their first in-patient appointment is February 19. Unacceptable to have to wait that long, especially if you are suffering. I called the Reston Rheumatology group and left a message, but I haven't heard back. I bought the Voltaren, but I haven't tried it yet. Thank you for seeing me so quickly. You are the best, Dr. Z.!

Dr Zahir and Dr Mir are treasures! After being my trusted Dr’s for years, we made the decision to move out of town, and leaving them was truly difficult. Fast forward 5 years; we moved back to the area, and even though I now drive an hour to see them, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
